Major growth continues in Panmure, with property price increases out-stripping that of central suburbs.

PropertyIQ.co.nz Sept 2013

We have been talking for some time about how values in the very centre of Auckland had levelled somewhat, while the highest growth was occurring in the fringes. You can see this ring effect where many of the suburbs in central Auckland have all increased less than 10% over the past year.
As buyers began to look a little further out of town, those areas began to see the highest level of growth. We can see a wider ring of suburbs that have grown 11% to 20%.  We can see this ‘ring’ take effect around into Avondale, Blockhouse Bay and then up and around Panmure and Glendowie.
Once we get even further out of the city and the surrounding suburbs, we can see that value growth falls back again, with the likes of Papatoetoe, East Tamaki, Henderson and Albany all not matching up to their neighbouring suburbs.
